About These Terms And Conditions
In these Terms and Conditions “we” and “us” mean Bellman Family Trust t/a Fabled Papery ABN 18933045154 of Geelong Victoria, and “you” means you the customer. These Terms and Conditions together with your order constitute the entire contract between us and you for the supply of products. No other Terms and Conditions will apply. The contract cannot be varied unless we agree to vary it in writing or by email.
By purchasing a product from use, you agree to the terms and conditions.
Legal Capacity To Transact
If you are under the age eighteen (18) years you can not place orders with Fabled Papery. By accepting these Terms and Conditions you acknowledge that you are over the age of eighteen (18) years. Should Fabled Papery suffer any damage or other losses as a result of a transaction entered into by a minor, we reserve the right to seek compensation for such losses from the parents or guardians of the minor who caused any order(s) to be placed with Fabled Papery.
Placing Your Order

We do not currently have a storefront and operate online – please make sure you provide up to date contact details (including an email address)
When you place your order, we will issue you with an order number. We will do this by email. By placing an order, you agree to purchase the products you have selected based on these Terms and Conditions.
Once we have received your content, we will process your order with the design team. Please keep an eye out for your email proofs (and check your junk mail just in case). We text all our customers when the first proof has been sent
Fabled Papery reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion. We will confirm acceptance of your order when we send you an email confirming shipment of the goods you have ordered.
If we cannot process or accept your order after payment is received we will contact you by email or telephone.
Print Quality
We use digital printing following international standard FOGRA39 according to ISO 12647-2:2004 / Amd 1. We strive to achieve the best print result using these standards.
Please note though all screens show colours differently as there is light behind them, and the colours will appear slightly different from what you see on your screen. If you have any concerns please contact us at love@fabledpapery.com.au
Due to different textures and coatings, variations in output colour and toner appearance will be apparent and sometimes unavoidable. Whilst we endeavor to achieve the best print for you, we highly recommend that, if you have any concerns, you request a physical sample prior to printing. We reserve the right to deny a refund due to a dissatisfaction with the final product caused by a change of mind, or a change of preference.
Payment
Fabled Papery currently accepts PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Afterpay and EFT. If you choose to pay be EFT your order will not be processed until payment is confirmed in our account – please email a remittance advice to love@fabledpapery.com.au so there are no delays with your order. We process credit card payments after you click the “Submit Order” button via Paypal. For credit card payments we will email a tax invoice to you with your order confirmation. Your tax invoice is your proof of purchase. Please note:
- Debit cards and cheque cards have daily spending limits that may substantially delay the processing of your order.
- You may be required to provide further identification for additional security reference checks.
GST, Prices & Out of Stock Items
Fabled Papery purchases include GST unless otherwise stated on a product listing.
All prices on our website are in Australian dollars, and Fabled Papery reserves the right to change prices for products displayed at any time.
On rare occasions an item may be out of stock. In such cases, we will notify you immediately with your alternatives and place your order on hold until together we figure out a plan of action.
Delivery
Delivery time varies according to your physical location in Australia. We use Australia Post (Australian Orders) and DHL express (International Orders) to deliver your goods. All of our goods ship from our print studio in Thomastown Melbourne, please take into consideration the likely delivery lead time for shipping.
Fabled Papery makes every effort to deliver your product according to the estimated delivery times provided above. The estimated delivery times are in business days (Monday through Friday) excluding public holidays.
Although every effort is made to ship your order according to the estimated delivery times provided, estimated ship times may change due to changes in supply or circumstances beyond our control.
If your order is urgent and you need it by a certain date, please contact us at love@fabledpapery.com.au to let us know.
Unless otherwise agreed by us, we will deliver your products to the address indicated on your order confirmation. We will use our reasonable efforts to deliver your products to you within the estimated delivery time indicated on your order confirmation; however, we do not guarantee that we will deliver within this time frame. Title and risk of loss to all products will pass to you on delivery.
Promotions
Fabled Papery in its discretion may from time to time provide discount coupons to existing and/or new customers. Coupons can only be used towards the payment of products on our website and are not redeemable in conjunction with other coupons. Unless specified, coupons can not be used for bespoke projects. Coupons can only be used in accordance with the terms and conditions under which the coupons are issued. Any terms and conditions governing the use of a coupon will accompany that coupon. Fabled Papery will determine the content of terms and conditions governing coupons in its absolute discretion.
Refunds and Cancellations
Due to the customisable nature of our products, once the design team has commenced work on your project we are unable to offer cancellations and refunds due to change of mind. This includes change of mind for services, for example if you choose to add names to invitations and the designer has provided a proof with this, and you choose to remove the names – this cost is not refundable because of the design time spent.
If you have ordered something which isn’t customised though, we are happy to exchange or refund if the goods are shipped back to us in their original condition minus the cost to us in shipping the items to your originally.
In some cases a special circumstance may occur, such as date or venue changes. In these special circumstances, we can provide you with a one time discount of 30% to help offset the expense. Please contact us via email at love@fabledpapery.com.au and we will generate a coupon code for you.
No refunds, credit or replacements are offered if you have changed your mind about the product or make an incorrect choice when placing an order. No refund will be provided if you made errors in spelling or text copy.
Damaged in Transit
A Fabled Papery product is considered damaged or faulty when it is discovered to be damaged or broken when first taken from its packaging. If this happens, please contact us at love@fabledpapery.com.au with photos of what has happened – a team member will be in touch asap to work with you to resolve the situation. Where a product is provisionally determined as damaged we will arrange to replace the product. Refunds will only be offered where a replacement product can not be provided. Where Fabled Papery has provisionally determined that a product is damaged, return shipping will be arranged at the expense of Fabled Papery.
If the product is deemed by customer services NOT to be damaged, Fabled Papery may in its absolute discretion refuse to replace the product or offer you a refund for the product. When a product is replaced, your replacement product becomes your property and the returned damaged product becomes our property. When a refund is given, the returned damaged product becomes our property. If the condition of the product was misrepresented to us by the customer, Fabled Papery will impose a $50 handling and administration fee.
Time frame for return
You have 7 days to notify Fabled Papery of an issue regarding a delivery. Please open and inspect your invitations in detail and notify us if there are any issues.
Faulty Product
Please note, we typically include several spare pieces of each item you purchase over and above what you have ordered and paid for. The number of spares provided is at our discretion and varies from item to item as we fit different quantities per page – for example you may receive 2 extra main invitations but 3 additional wishing well cards. This practice is rarely needed due to our quality control, but is still done as a service to you. In case you have a couple of additional guests, someone has a new partner, you misspell a name, etc. This service also allows for the odd inconsistency in the specialty paper used and the occasional imperfection in the printing processes we utilise. By placing this order, you agree to utilise the supplied spare item(s) to replace any odd defective item which has a paper or printing defect prior to Fabled Papery supplying a re-print or replacement.
Errors & Spelling Mistakes
If a product contains an error or misprint caused by Fabled Papery, we will happily reprint it at no cost to you or you may choose to keep the order as is and we will apply a 20% discount to the portion of the order that is affected.
Where we agree to replace the product or refund you the purchase price of the product, you must first return the defective product to us. You will be obliged to pay for the return of the product if the item is sent after 7 days from dispatch. Otherwise, we will make arrangements with you for the return of the product at our cost. The delivery time for replacing the product will be the same as stated for the original product. Replacement products are provided with the same warranty as the returned product.
If a product contains an error or misprint caused by yourself the client, we are unable to offer a discount on the order. Unfortunately we are unable to provide proofing or copywriting services at this time, and it is the expectation that when you provide your content to us it is correct and has been spell checked by the client – ready for print.
Liability, Your Data – Use And Protection, Credit Card Fraud
We will not be liable for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of contracts, loss of data or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind howsoever arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise. Our maximum aggregate liability for any Product supplied to you whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise shall in no circumstances exceed the amount payable by you to us in respect of the product(s) in question.
By placing your order, you agree that we may store, process and use data collected from your order form for the purposes of processing your order. If you so indicate on the appropriate section of your order form, by placing your order you also agree that we may use such data, other than credit card details, in order to provide you with information from time to time on other Fabled Papery products that may be of interest to you. If you do not agree to our using such data in order to provide you with information on other Fabled Papery products, you should indicate your non-agreement on the appropriate section of your order form. You may obtain a copy of the data held by us concerning you on request in writing. We reserve the right to charge an administration fee for processing such request. If any data held by us concerning you is incorrect, we will correct it on your written request.
Fabled Papery will not be responsible for any damages, consequential losses (whether direct or indirect) suffered by a customer whose credit card is fraudulently used or is used in an unauthorised manner.
General
You shall not assign any rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions whether in whole or in part without the prior written consent of Fabled Papery. Any unauthorized assignment shall be deemed null and void. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions and the remainder of the provisions in question shall not be affected thereby. Under the Trade Practices Act 1974 (“Act”), where implied conditions and warranties cannot be excluded, any liability in Fabled Papery for breach of such conditions and warranties (other than a condition or warranty implied by section 69 of the Act) shall be limited, at the option Fabled Papery, to the replacement of the Product(s) or the re-supply of the same Product(s); the payment of the cost of replacing the Product(s) or of acquiring equivalent Product(s). Neither our failure nor your failure to enforce any Term or Condition constitutes a waiver of such Term or Condition. Such failure shall in no way affect the right to later enforce such Term or Condition. Fabled Papery reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of sale at any time.
No Fabled Papery employee or agent has the authority to vary any of the Terms and Conditions governing any sale.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
BY ORDERING PRODUCTS OR USING SERVICES, OR BY OTHERWISE INDICATING ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND REVIEWED THESE TERMS IN THEIR ENTIRETY, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS, AND THESE TERMS CONSTITUTE BINDING AND ENFORCEABLE OBLIGATIONS TO YOU.
